This is another Rocky Mountain city where you can get your fill of fun, adventure, experience and sights. It's called Idaho Falls, and it's full of suprises and premium attractions.

Things to See

Grand Teton National Park

Oh what great peaks you have!Without question, some of the best peaks of the Rocky Mountains range are in this city. Oh what a skyline it makes! Hiking and camping are optional, beholding wonder comes easily, so it's no choice. Serenity awaits, but there are many species of wildlife, alpine landscapes, glassy lakes and more. All kinds of ecosystems are found within the splendor of this park. Check out the Western Center for Historic Preservation while there. Black and grizzly bears roam this park, but with the right precautions, their presence should not be a deal-breaker.

Yellowstone National Park

This park straddles across both Montana and Idaho, providing a blast of nature scenery and the largest collection of geysers in the country.

Wildlife abounds, and includes herds of bison, elk, bears, wolves, and a rare temperate zone ecosystem.  Since this is grizzly bear country and the site of a live volcano, get educated about ways to stay safe.

Menors Ferry Historic District

Thanks to the homesteader for whom this district is named, there's a working ferryboat (water level dependent). A cabin and country store are featured here; giving a taste of pioneer life. Be sure to glance out the altar window of the Chapel of the Transfiguration, where you can behold Teton's most lofty peaks.

Things to Do

Funland Amusement Park

Attractions and rides are just the tip of the iceberg at this amusement park. Established in 1947, it is located at 365 Sunkey Diamond Drive. Mini golf is available for adults or children. This park is on a smaller scale, but features family fun. A Ferris wheel, merry-go-round and other rides send riders skyward or in some direction that the feet can't quite take one.

Motor Vu Drive-In

Many cities don't offer the drive-in movie experience; which is a throwback from the past. The drive-in movie experience is an open-air adventure joined together with a jumbo movie screen. At Movie Vu Drive-in a mega screen offers a pack of WOW! Most movies start at 9:00pm. Pull in at 2095 North Yellowstone Highway, and then let the seats back and enjoy.

Conclusion

Idaho Falls has such geographic favor, that it's like a magnet for nature lovers. For those who love the indoors, this city also offers them a full plate of activities.
